Just who is Dave Mackie?
Between 1978 and 1984, Dave Mackie set over 60 National Records and was five-time
Dave Mackie: Drag Racer
National Champion in some very tough competitive classes, racing against all comers. Dave Mackie is the only man in DRAGBIKE® history to deliver the Stock Eliminator Championship to Harley-Davidson, and was the first man into the 10's with a stock displacement engine.

Dave credits his long association with Rivera/Primo with a lot of his success. He used an Eliminator SU carburetor, Leineweber camshaft, Atlas clutches, and a Primo belt drive during his racing career.
